As someone who's interested in making electronic music and also doing some (very basic) guitar recordings, would you recommend Logic or Ableton? Cheers mate
Mate! Both great options! Logic Pro is probably your best bang for your buck, and it has had free updates for the past decade. Ableton has paid updates every year or so, and the software is generally more pricey. That said you can probably snag a good discount via an education license. You can give GarageBand and Ableton Live Lite a try, and then roll with whichever feels more intuitive to you. (:
